Rewind Yesterday

Today I was bored so I decided to do another review.

So I went through my friend list on MYSPACE and decided to pick Rewind Yesterday
Now Rewind Yesterday features Luke, formerly of ADEMA, but formerly of Rewind Yesterday (I wouldn’t of Left Rewind Yesterday for Adema Luke, but hey, it got your name out there)

So I pulled up their myspace. Last time I saw RY was at I believe Twisters in the battle of the bands against Since July. So I had their old demo cd for a while and I was excited to hear the new recordings of it.



First Song: Buying Every Word (5/5)

There is nothing on this song that I can say it needs this, more this. Its perfect the way it is. It showcases Luke's powerful voice and the amazing guitar and bass work of the band. sorry for not mentioning xxxmas, xxxmas, you know your bad ass and so does everyone else! Lol



Second Song: Emotions Out (5/5)

When I had the original demo, this was my favorite song... I love the guitar parts in this song. Xxxmas' drumbeat during the verse is awesome, that little stutter on the snare. Amazing, This is one of my Favorite Local Song. I'll find myself singing this around my place. Oh and Xxxmas' drum roll is amazing at the end... so clean.



Third Song: First Steps (4/5)

Another great song. These guys are like HIT machines. I think it will be quick until they get signed. I mean, people have heard Luke's strong voice in the industry, so it will be no time. I predict it.



Fourth Song: Buying Every Word (Acoustic) (4/5)

Great version of this song. I love it when a band can take a rocking song like that and turn it into a ballad sort in a way.



So all together, Rewind Yesterday gets an 18/20 in my book
Where is the March 31st at guys? I will be there!!!
